I fell in love with hoops in 1989. In 1994, aged 18, my first U.S. trip came via an Australian NBA tour - six games in two weeks, just after Michael Jordan’s first retirement. That sparked a lifelong pursuit. In 2012, I launched Basketball Record: NBA History Explored (originally In All Airness) - my deep dive into the league’s stories, people, and moments. I’ve since interviewed Hall of Famers, All-Stars, role players, journeymen, and storytellers.
The passion took me from Madison Square Garden (2017) to NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago (2020) - and to ABC TV’s Hard Quiz (2023), where I won the brass mug with Michael Jordan as my specialist topic. I contributed to Luc Longley: One Giant Leap (ABC, 2021), earned special thanks in The Last Dance (ESPN/Netflix, 2020), and appear in the acknowledgments of Roland Lazenby’s Michael Jordan: The Life (Little, Brown and Company, 2014).
